Every year, there is a Family Fun Day for the Days of ‘47. It was at This Is The Place State Park again. I took my kids and met Amber and her kids up there. We had a great time! We rode the train, played on bounce houses, played in the miniature houses, did crafts, rode a pony, got balloons, ate lunch and popsicles, and ran through the sprinklers! It was hot, but not too hot, and the kids all had a great time! Everyone got to do the thing they wanted to do the most, so everyone was happy. We had a few crazy moments, my favorite was when Michaela walked right into a wet painting and had green paint all over her face!! I also really enjoyed my sweet niece Emma’s statement about how horses stink and she wasn’t gonna ride one! What a character! It was a good time, although I really look forward to the day I can go there and not push a stroller. That’s what killed me more than anything else! Thanks Amber and fam for joining us!!
On the train ride
Bouncing!
Playing in the houses (my favorite part!!)
Standing in line for pony rides
Yay pony rides! (They only went one time around, so it was a little pathetic, but none of the kids seemed to know it, they were all just happy to have been on a horse!)
Sweet Jer Bear, taking a nap
All the kids with their balloons
Playing in the sprinklers on the way out
The sprinklers popped Lily’s balloon, how sad :(
Hooray for FREE family fun!
