I still have tons of summer and beginning of school posts to catch up on, but I have been pretty smitten with our newest addition, Olivia! Olivia came into this world in a whirlwind blur, and we are so happy she is here in our family. She was born on September 8 at 5:52pm. She was 9lbs 3oz and 18 inches long. (Although, we measured her when we got home, and she was closer to 22 inches.)
Meeting mommy and daddy!
Meeting sisters and brother!
We were all so excited for Olivia to get here. Big sisters have loved holding her and cuddling her, and big brother absolutely adores his little sister! I had a lot of people ask me how I thought he would do with not being the youngest anymore, and I always knew he would love this little girl and be such a good big brother to her. Our nurse in our delivery room gave all of the kids “big brother” and “big sister” hospital bands and he didn’t take his off for almost 2 weeks! When it did finally fall off, he wanted me to put it in a special place so he could keep it forever. So sweet!
Olivia is a great baby with such a sweet disposition. She already sleeps fantastic at night, which her parents are loving! She is growing healthy and is so strong! At her two week visit, several of those who saw her thought she was a two month old because she is already so alert (and BIG). We are all just so happy that she is healthy and that she got here safely. We love having Olivia in our family and can’t imagine life without her!!
