Girls Day Out!

Last year my sisters, sis-in-laws and mom decided to have a girls day out. Husbands stayed home with kids, and we all got a day out of the house doing things together. We decided it was time for another one, so last Saturday, we all got together for another day of crazy fun! It just happened to be Megan's birthday, and she didn't let us forget it! So we made her do ridiculous things all day! We started out doing a craft at Heidi's. She has such fun stuff! We made Megan stand on a chair and we sang to her. Then we headed to The Wood Connection to look at all their cute stuff and get ideas for future craft projects. We went to lunch at The Mayan. It's been a few years since I went there, and it was really fun to go again. We got up front seats, which were really fun, except for the times people practically sat on us so they could see the show. We did get wet once, but luckily before our food arrived! Then we went to IKEA, one of my favorite places! There is always something to buy there, and I got lots of fun new things! After walking through IKEA, we all were pretty tired, so we headed back to my mom's house where we ate dinner and had Megan's giant cookie birthday cake. Then we went to Target just for fun, and then went for ice cream at Coldstone. Dad, Dennis, Cory and Pheobe joined us for Coldstone. It was such a fun day. It's always nice to go back home and see my family after a day away. They were all in bed, but I still snuck in a kiss and hug!
