Introducing...

So the waiting is finally over! My little guy is finally here. My kids have this annoying little trend of being born later and later, and so technically I guess Jared was right on time--4 days late! I absolutely hate pictures of me when I'm pregnant, but I wanted to get a "tummy pic". Here I am right before Jason and I left for my doctor's appointment.

I had been having contractions all night, but they were still kind of on and off. I was hoping I would be far enough along that my doctor would send me right to the hospital. I was actually only at a 2, but after telling my doctor what I wanted, he said he would send me over! He's the best!! They gave me pitocin to help the contractions get harder and longer. I progressed slowly until after my epidural. My doctor came to break my water and baby was there and ready to come into this world. All my deliveries were fast, but he was turbo compared to the rest. 2 pushes in 2 min and he was here!! He looked just like Michaela and Lily right after he was born, but the last day or so he has really resembled Savannah to us, so we aren't sure who he is going to end up looking like, but we do know he is a cutie!! He is an angel so far and we even made it through our first night home only waking up twice!! I hope that continues. Our girls are absolutely smitten with him and beg to hold him all the time. Lily will tell us, "baby crying wa-wa" so she can hold him. Michaela snuggles right up to me every time he is in my arms and tells him how much she loves him. Savannah holds him and tells him all the fun things they are going to do together. He is one lucky kid to have such wonderful big sisters!! We are happy to be home, and I am doing great. Savannah is out of school until Tuesday, and Jason is off until Monday, so we have a nice long weekend to spend together getting used to our new addition! Here are some pictures of Jared.
