The Flavor....

So today was the big day. The official (well actually not-quite-official since I did it a little early) half way point and big ultrasound for this baby! The question of what flavor baby we would have actually gave me lots of anxiety near the beginning of this pregnancy. After having three girls, of course I would love a boy, but I would be equally excited with another little girl too. But after a big balling session with my sister one day, I was pretty sure that was all gone.... As the day drew nearer though, strange dreams began to infest my nights and the anxiety started up again. In reality though, I was more anxious to make sure my little bun was cooking healthy. We are happy to say that our baby is doing great, and we are THRILLED to let everyone know we will be welcoming our first little boy to our family around September 24!!! Our oldest 2 girls kept telling us this is how it would be. Michaela even started announcing our boy to everyone last Sunday! I had to correct everyone, telling them we didn't know yet, but so far Savannah has been right each time, so I guess I should just let them tell!! We are excited to hear what the others in our family will be having. Jason's sister will be having a little girl sometime next month, but there are others on their way and we will just have to see if Uncle Dennis gets to coach the next generation of basketball all-stars, or if it will have to still wait a while!
