Love

I am feeling pretty in love with my family today, and just wanted to share some of the things I love about each of them.

Savannah--I love what a great big sister she is. She is always thinking of her sisters and brother. I love that she came home from her valentine party at school today, and after doing an inventory of her candy, told both sisters they could pick whatever they wanted no matter what size. I love that she continued to share her candy throughout the day. I love that she loves to read to her siblings. It especially makes me smile to see her read to baby Jared.

Michaela--I love this girls spunky personality. I love that she is wild and crazy and has no fashion sense. (Today she paired a striped shirt with camo pants) I love that she has a wonderful imagination and any two objects, like blocks or crayons, can turn into a mom and daughter or two best friends hanging out. I love that she has become the big sister during the day to Lily and is always doing her best to play and teach things to her, even if mom would rather that Lily not learn some things...I love that she will sing to Jared when he cries if I can't get to him right away.

Lily--I love being woken up in the morning to two beautiful blue eyes looking at me from 2 inches away. I love her squeaky little 2-year-old voice and her 7-year-old vocabulary. I love that during sacrament this past Sunday, she started crying loudly that she needed to go potty 5 min before the meeting was over and after I had already taken her once. I love her hugs. I love kissing her squishy cheeks. I love when she wants me to read a story and snuggles right up next to me. I love when she asks if she can hold me.

Jared--I love this boy! I love that he will cry just to get my attention and then he will smile a big grin. I love that he is such a playful baby. I love giving him squishy hugs. I love changing him and chunking his thighs and hearing his laugh. I love that he laughed at Michaela swinging a balloon around the other day. I love that he is my snuggliest baby and will let me hold him and snuggle for hours. I love that he knows his sisters and smiles at them.

Jason--I love that this guy is my world. I love that he is the best father to our kids. I love that he will go and get me ice cream even when I didn't ask for it, and never forgets the fries! I love that he will talk to me for hours about anything. I love that even when I disappoint him, he still loves me. I love that he is my best friend.

I love that I get to spend this weekend with my cute family!
