We had a great Easter weekend this year. I love when it falls on conference Sunday, because it’s so nice to stay home as a family and listen to our prophet.
The night before, the girls and daddy made their Easter-bunny bags. (Daddy made Jared’s)
The girls were very excited the next morning to see that the Easter bunny had come!
Here they are inspecting their loot. The favorite thing for the girls were the princess dresses they got. Jared was equally excited with his new bibs as he was his new socks!
The girls in their dresses.
It was a fun weekend, but the fun didn’t stop there. The next weekend, we had our Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Fergy’s! The kids all decorated egg cartons to pick up their eggs.
The daddy’s hid them and the kids had a blast finding eggs. At one point Savannah was looking sad, and when I asked what was the matter, she was sad that she had already found all her eggs, so I told her to do it again then. She dumped out her egg carton and went looking for new eggs! Funny girl!
Jared was a pretty tired guy, and slept on daddy’s shoulder during the entire hunt!
And look! I was there, here’s proof!
I made the kids Easter outfits and they wore them that Sunday. Lily had issues with the shoes, because they are kind of flip flop-ish, and she is not used to wearing those yet, so she couldn’t keep them on her feet. She ended up barefoot during most of church, but now those are the shoes she wants on every day!
We had a great Easter, and hope everyone else did too!!

The outfits are so cute. That Jared is such a stud. I just want to squeeze him!! I love his tie!
Can you just make Makenna an Easter outfit next year? So so cute!
You always have such cute ideas for activities/crafts for your kids, I love it. The Easter outfits turned out so good. Quick question, on an older post you made a bow tie for Jared, how did you connect it?
I must add that I love the outfits too! Your family is soooooo cute.
