Technically, the kids had a few more days, but Jason took one more day off for us to have a family outing before everyone started back into school. We had a fun filled day!
We started out by rounding up our kids and taking them to City Creek. Last spring, when Jason took me there for my birthday, we concocted a little plan to have an outing here and made up a fun scavenger hunt for our kiddos. It took us ALL summer to get there!
They had so much fun with their little hunts! They were so smart and found all of the ones we thought would be tricky!!
We stopped by the fountains, and even though they were all in regular clothes, it didn’t stop them from playing!
Well, except for Jared who just kept shooting webs at the water!
Michaela and Lily waited patiently for the water to splash them in the face.
It did!
My goofy kids!!
We wandered some more before we finally finished the scavenger hunt.
We then took the kids to play at the dinosaur playground.
Then, we let everyone choose where they wanted to go for lunch. The kids all got McDonald’s,
While Jason and I got Chick-fil-a and Kneaders!!
After our fun morning, our friends, the Ogden’s called and wanted to do something with us, so we headed to Sandy to go bowling!
The kids had a great time bowling, and hanging with the Ogden’s!
I absolutely LOVE these little bowling shoes!!!!
The game was close, and by close I mean that Jared almost beat daddy and the girls almost beat me as well! (I think this picture is actually of our first game, because I am pretty sure I almost lost to all the kids in the second.)
We had an absolutely AMAZING summer together! We made so many memories, and did so many fun things! It was 100% CaRaZy, but well worth it! While it’s been nice to settle back into a routine, school brings a new kind of crazy, and I sorta miss those lazy summer days---that were ANYTHING but lazy!

I love that your daughters sat and waited for the water to splash them in the face and that you got pictures of it! So funny!!!
