My sister-in-law wanted to start a little storytime with all of the cousins. She had the first one at her house and we read “Silly Sally”.
After reading the story, we traced all of the kids and cut them out for them to color.
Then we hung them upside down since that’s the way “Sally” walks to town in the book. The kids were giggling and loved storytime!
Our second storytime was at Julie’s house. We read a story about a pirate and then went on a treasure hunt!
The kids even made swords and got to wear an eyepatch.
They loved following the cute clues along the way,
And finding the treasure at the end!!
When it was my turn to host storytime, we read “Don’t let the Pigeon Drive the Bus”. We made a school bus with shapes.
Then later, we made Pigeon handprints!!
I love these cute little handprints and how adorable they all turned out!
It has been so fun for my kids and they look forward to “Cousin Storytime” each week!!
