The annual Ferguson Progressive Dinner is our favorite party of the year!! This year, we worked around an “orange” theme. We also decided to only go to half of the houses so we could spend more time visiting, and less time driving and getting in and out of cars.
We started up at the Madsen’s, where Amber and Jennie made us a yummy mandarin orange salad, and orange Jell-O salad.
Next. we headed to my house where mom and I had made Orange Chicken and Fried rice. I can’t believe how much orange chicken we had, and how little was left! I guess that means it was a hit!
We ended at Dennis & Julie’s house. Julie made us yummy orange rolls, and Dave brought orange cocoa! Mmmmmmmm! Everything was so yummy!
After everyone was done eating, we gathered downstairs to listen to the story “Christmas Oranges”.
It was such a fun night. I loved the “Oranges” theme and the story is a cute one with a great message. After the story, mom gave everyone an orange to take home with them. My kids reenacted the story at home over and over!
It was another great Progressive Dinner! We enjoyed all of the food and company!!

I wish Raquel could have heard her cute Aunt Charisse read the story this year!
