Easter Celebrations 2013

Our Easter Celebrations this year started on Saturday morning with a brunch at Grandma and Grandpa Ferguson’s.  We enjoyed our super yummy food and then got ready for our Easter Egg Hunt!

The dad’s all went out to hide the eggs while the mom’s tried to keep the kids contained until it was time to go!

Savannah and Michaela both requested to have their eggs hidden really well, and they had a fun time finding some of those crazily hidden eggs!  Jared and Lily LOVED hunting for eggs and didn’t stop when they had found their 12.  They had to recount and share with cousins who weren’t quite as fast as they were!!

Grandma had a great big colorful “egg” for them to find and a little goody bag as well.  My kids are loving their balls and had so much fun with their bubbles too!!

Saturday night, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Medico’s for and early Easter dinner and another egg hunt.  The kids, once again, had a great time searching for eggs and being with family!

When we got home, we made our bunny bags and set them out for the Easter Bunny to fill.

We spent a fun Easter morning together looking through our bags and playing together.

Savannah and Michaela both got piano books and sat down immediately to start learning new songs!  These have been a lot of fun to add to their lessons each week.

Lily and Jared loved eating snacks and playing games!

We got ready for church and the kids all wore their new Easter outfits.  They turned out pretty cute, but there are a few changes I would still like to make…

That night we enjoyed our own little family together for Easter Dinner.  We talked with the kids about the true meaning of this special holiday and enjoyed hearing what they had each learned from church.

We also enjoyed some yummy carrot cupcakes for our dessert!

I love spending time with my sweet little family for holidays!  Easter is such a great time of year to remember our Savior and everything he has done to make it possible for our little family to be together forever!!
