Lily's 1st birthday

Happy Birthday Lily!!

Lily turned one this week. She had such a fun birthday! She opened her gifts before daddy left for work. She loved finding things in the big bags! She loved walking around with her little walker. I found the cutest little outfit, and she looked so cute all day. Grandma Fergy and Aunt Megan came over to visit. They brought her a little book, and a cute little dress, she will definitely wear on Sunday! We just enjoyed most of the day playing with Lily. We got all the girls Happy Meals for dinner, because they had My Little Ponies in them. I had to go to young women's, but when she got home, we had cake and ice cream. I made her cake, and I didn't realize how difficult it would be to frost a 3-d cake. Then I made the frosting too thin, and it wouldn't work in the bag and tip very well, so I just ended up having a "rubber ducky" instead of a "fluffy ducky". She didn't know what to do with the cake at first, because I wasn't feeding it to her. She tried to pick up her plate and shove it into her face, then after a while, that was tiring, so she just face-planted into it! After she had made a disastrous mess, she signed "all done" and got a bath! It was a fun day! I love one-year-olds!! Here are some pictures from our fun day:
