Ward Christmas Party

We had our ward Christmas party tonight. It was a crazy, fun night. We had a picnic, so we all brought blankets to sit on, and ate picnic type food, (fried chicken, potato salad, jello and chips). Lily crawled all around our blanket sampling food from everyone, but settled on the Cheetos. We sang Christmas songs, and my girls played with their little friends. Savannah kept asking if she could take some chicken home to eat tomorrow. (I think I've taught my kids just a little too well about freeloading). When it was time to go, we were gathering all our kids up, and they sent us with a ton of leftovers. Yay!! I don't have to cook next week, while Jason is out of town!! And Savannah got her wish, she can have some chicken tomorrow. We were loading the kids up in the car, and Michaela HAD to go potty RIGHT THEN! So I took her back into the church to use the bathroom. She was taking a really long time, and (sorry if this is TMI) all of the sudden she said, "Oh my gosh, I am DYING!!" I asked why and she said "It feels like my foot is coming out of my tummy!!" I just about died laughing! Crazy kid! All in all it was a fun night. We had a good time visiting with people and feeling the holiday spirit.
