We had such a fun New Year's celebration at our house. My parents, and some of my siblings came over to our house on New Year's Eve. We had all kinds of yummy food, and we used our new chocolate fountain! The girls really loved that!! We ate a lot, and then we played some games. We also learned some crazy things we never knew before, like how "Chewbacca" is a term of endearment, "Bouillon" rhymes with "Mulan", "chessing" (what kind of word is THAT!?!?) is a good rhyme for "dressing", something in the sea that starts with the letter C can always be "Charlie-the dead guy", and if you need someone to guess the phrase "snow-drift" a good clue is "when the snow drifts"! All in all it was a fabulous evening, with plenty of mocking, and good times! We brought in 9:42pm in grand style toasting with our Martinelli's. 2009 was brought in later in the evening, but we were all in bed by then. We did have a fun time, and the girls were so happy to stay up an extra hour!
New Year's Day, we got together with all of the Ferguson's and had lunch at Bucca Di Beppo. If you have never been there, I highly recommend it. It was so much fun, and we loved the family-style eating! We are all excited for this new family tradition. Especially since Ashley paid for the whole thing!!

Funny, we never got an invite to this and it looks like everyone else did. . . hmmmm. Well it looks like it was fun, but it wouldn've been FUNNER with the Maddo's!! Too bad, you missed out!
