Happy Birthday Dads!

Both Jason and my dads' birthdays are in January. We wanted to wish them both a Happy Birthday, and tell them how much we love them. We appreciate everything they have done and do for us, and the love they have for our little girls.

My dad's birthday was January 15. It was a crazy day (the day my girls had their sleepover) but Lily and I did get to drop by for just a minute that night to wish him a happy birthday.

Jason's dad's birthday was January 29. Jason is super forgetful about any of his families birthdays, and I usually have to remind him that one is coming up. I can usually remember months, but not all days, but I do actually remember my father-in-law's. My sister-in-law Janice called, and was arranging for everyone to go out to dinner to celebrate. Jason didn't have basketball practice, so we could go. We went to Texas Roadhouse. Janice had called ahead and reserved a spot for us, but when we got there, someone else was sitting there, so we had to wait quite a long time, while they figured it out. Once we finally got seated, they offered us a couple of free appetizers because of the wait. SWEET!! Gotta love free, right? I have actually never tasted an awesome blossom before. It was very good, but definitely need to share with a group!! We ate and had a good time. My girls were so good. Lily had a few issues. She hasn't been feeling the best, and was tired, but once I let her have fries, she was good! Not everyone was able to come, but mom and dad Medico (of course), Janice and her boys, Carie and Torrie, and us. Torrie kept wanting to switch places, and then she would change her mind, and go back where she started. There was a little bit of musical chairs going on for a while. It was a fun night, the food was great, and it was nice to be together.

I am lame, and took absolutely no pictures of either birthday, even though I had my camera with me. I was able to dig up some pics of the birthday boys though...
