On Tuesday this week, I watched the inauguration, and wanted my kids to see it too. I had them come and watch, and was explaining to them what was happening.
me: "We are getting a new president of the United States, Barak Obama. I want you to come watch. He is going to be sworn in."
Savannah: "I don't really know what you are talking about mom."
me: "He's going to be the president of our country."
Savannah: "Oh, country, I know what that is!"
So they watched the oath, and then scurried off, I guess it wasn't that big of a deal to them. When Savannah got home from school though, she told me all about how they watched the parade, and she saw the President walking down the street. I think everything she learns at school is cooler than what she learns from me, because she was talking about that for a very long time!

As long as Savannah thinks school is cool you have nothing to worry about. (Well, you can spend your time worrying about other things!) She's a sweetheart!
Well if you weren't so stinkin' boring we all could probably gain a golden nugget of knowledge from you from time to time.
