Michaela and Lily both had a birthday this month, and we had a great time celebrating! Michaela's is first on December 6. She turned 5 this year! She is already so excited to get to go to school next year! Here she is in the morning with her stuff! She that sweater over on the side?

It was my first attempt at refashioning, and it was really fun to do! Although when I bought the sweater, I was thinking of attempting a dress for Lily, but I guess I bought WAY TOO BIG!! That's ok, I'll try again for her!
I make Michaela a Christmas Tree cake, and she loved it!!

Four days later on December 10, we celebrated Lily's birthday. She turned 2 this year!!! Every time I turn around it seems as though this little girl has grown up some more! She loved everything she got.
My favorite gift we gave her was this little picnic basket with felt food!! So fun!

For her cake, Lily got a butterfly cake. She really loves butterflies right now. I am really a fan of cupcake cakes, so I made this one be one too!!
