So, of course, last weekend was the Super Bowl. I do not watch football, or care much about it, so don't ask me who played, but I do know the team Jason wanted won. Saturday, we went to Harmon's for their Super Bowl Sandwich prediction. This is one of my favorite things to do, which is funny since I don't care about the Super Bowl! Harmon's has two giant sub sandwiches, one for each team, and whichever one is eaten first is Harmon's prediction for the winner. I have been doing this with my family as long as I can remember. Jason calls us freeloaders, I call us "fun-finders"! My girls are now starting to look forward to this funny tradition, and I think Jason really does enjoy himself. We ran into my family there (of course) and took pictures of us eating--which got some really weird stares!!
On Sunday, Jason headed off to watch the game with all my brothers and dad. The girls usually get together, but we decided this year, to all just stay home. I would have ended up staying home anyway, because all three of my girls were sick. :( We had a fun "girls party" anyway. We watched movies and had snacks, and snuggled together! It was really nice to just relax with my kids! I sent a camera with Jason to capture his party's fun, but he left it in the van! He had a great time though, and came home very happy that his team won!
Here are some pictures from the weekend:
