A few months ago, my brother and his wife invited us to a murder mystery dinner. Jason and I had so much fun and decided we wanted to do lots more of them. I found some games at DI one time, and we finally decided to put one together. Since there was a Friday the 13th this month, it seemed like the perfect time to host one! We got some of our friends in our ward together, and we put most of the kids all together at one of the other houses. We had a bunch of Young Women come babysit for us. I think it got pretty wild, but the only thing they said was crazy was when all the babies were crying at once! They did a great job, and it was fun to have a night without kids!
We gave everyone their parts, and had everyone dress up. It was based in New York, so we were all pretty fancy. When taking pictures after the game, we all felt like we were back in high school going to the prom!! The game was great, and all the food was fantastic! It was a great night, and we plan to have many more murder mystery nights!!
