Valentine's is such a fun holiday. It was nice being on a Saturday this year, because we got to have daddy home with us all day! We had a tradition in our home growing up called the "Valentine trail". In the morning when we woke up, there was a trail of candy hearts leading from our bedroom to the kitchen table, where we would find some little trinkets and candy. We love continuing this tradition in our own family. The girls are always happy to wake up to candy on the floor! Lily thought it was great, though she took a few minutes to understand what she was suppossed to do. Then she got tired of picking up all the candy, and just stopped, so her sisters helped her out! I also dye the milk and usually the pancakes pink. Since Saturday's at our house are set in stone "cereal days", I had to settle with just the milk this year. The girls liked that their cereal turned pink too!! I gave my sweetheart a movie and some socks. (I know, not very romantic, but he needed them badly!!) He gave me the "Together" Willow Tree statue. I have been wanting this for a while, and I love that he remembered! He did get a little help from my mom who told him where to find them!! We spent the day together, and visited both our parents. Then we got heart-shaped pizza's and made "Valentine punch" and had a wonderful meal together. It was a nice day to just relax and enjoy each other! Happy Valentine's Day!

Cute! I love the tea party pictures and I am glad you had a great V Day. Your kids are sure growing up fast.
I totally want to steal that tradition of the valentines trail. I was going to do it this year, but didn't quite get to it. Next year it's going to happen!
