I can’t believe my handsome little devil is ONE!! This little guy is so much fun and he has definitely got his momma wrapped around his little finger! I love how silly he is. He loves to do things that make us laugh. In fact, whenever we do laugh, he pretty much thinks it’s at him. This little guy is all BOY! Give him a ball or a car and he’s good. He is my most snuggly baby and will still snuggle on my shoulder when he is tired. (I LOVE this!!) It still seems so crazy that it has been a year, but I have loved every minute of watching my little buddy grow!
Every birthday boy should have some cool new duds, and this one was lucky enough to score this: A party hat bigger than his head!! Woo-hoo mom! This ginormous hat is AWESOME! (If you couldn’t tell, I didn’t mean for it to turn out so LARGE! But hey, it had a monkey so that made up for it!)
We had a party for our families the Sunday before his birthday. Here is his cupcake #1. My little no fear guy, I was afraid he would stick his hand right in the flame, so I didn’t give it to him until after the candle was blown out. (I know, I’m a lame mom)
He didn’t care, as long as he got to get that goodness in him! We had a fun little celebration! Thanks everyone who came on by and celebrated with us!
On his birthday, we sang to him bright and early. He got really excited as we were singing and stuffed his blanket in his mouth. (It’s a weird little thing he does) He LOVED his toys! Again, definitely ALL BOY!
He got some new clothes, but they were in the way of his drum and cars, so he threw them behind him.
What a studly little man!
He had so much fun playing and being spoiled all day.
He got to have his first Happy Meal for lunch and get a BOY toy! Then he got to have pizza and pop for dinner! Yeah!
Here is his monkey cake that I made for him. Having already gone through the whole cake business once before, he was even more anxious to get his hands on it!

Happy Birthday to Jared! How can time go so fast?! He's such a cutie. I love the bear idea. Plus all your fun pics of the day. The Monkey cake with the cupcake ears is such a cute idea. I Love it. I'm so glad he's still cuddly. My boy was pretty cuddly until three. It was so nice while it lasted!
