Every October, I see everyone’s blogs about going to a pumpkin patch and think to myself “that looks so fun!” So this year I decided we were absolutely going to one! Jason didn’t end up getting to go with us because he was out hangin’ with his dad, so I ventured out alone….and had a BLAST!!! The pumpkin patch we chose was darling! There were a bunch of tractors out in front of the pumpkins and my kids quickly ran to and played on all of them.
Then we headed out into the rows and rows of pumpkins to choose some good ones. Some of my kids picked the first one they came to and were happy.
Others wanted to examine every pumpkin in the patch before settling on one.
And some of us just really needed something to hold!
Because I was alone, I made the kids pick ones they could carry.
Then we saw THESE!
That would have been helpful! Although, I still had a stroller, and I don’t think the girls could have pushed one of these with giant pumpkins in. (Notice Michaela pouting because it’s not her turn anymore…)
They had a cute little place for taking darling pictures.
And we took some more by the tractors.
There were free hayrides, so we took our pumpkins to the car and then enjoyed our ride.
Then we went to the free corn maze!
The girls LOVED the maze and kept going in over and over again! Jared preferred the tractors and so he and mom played by them while the girls played in the maze.
Before we left, the kids climbed up on this big stack of pumpkins for another picture!
Good-bye pumpkin patch!! We will definitely be visiting again next year!!
After we had our pumpkins, we decided to paint them, since every member of our family could do that.
I love how they each turned out!!
We had so much fun with our pumpkins and they sure make me smile!

I miss the pumpkin patches. Looks like you had a ton of fun. I think we went to that patch last year. Lots for kids to do.
Such an awesome pumpkin patch! We had to settle for one close by with just a few pumpkins to choose from - sadly no FREE hayrides either. Your pumpkins turned out so cute and each so unique!
Love the pictures. Jared looks so big and cute on the tractors. And Kayla's pout...classic!
Fun. We didn't get a chance to go to one this year. I love that they had tractors to play on! I'll have to let my kids paint pumkings next year...the only help I let Christian do this year was watch his dad carve...not as fun. You're so smart.
