We had a lot of fun things going on this Halloween. First, the week of Halloween, I was done with costumes, so I needed a few extra little things to make! I finally finished making my cute little 2x4 pumpkin. Better late than never right? I decided this little pumpkin wants to be a fall pumpkin and stay up for the month of November too!
Since Halloween was on Sunday this year, I randomly decided to make my kids Halloween church outfits! They were “fancy spooky” and didn’t look too crazy for church, I hope!
I also decided to make my kids trick or treat bags. We only had three and they were plastic bags that were ripping apart, so they really needed them. Now they match!! (although any other kiddos that come along will probably not get ones to match!)
We decided to have a Halloween party with some of our old neighbors. We had a fun time seeing everyone’s costumes, watching movies, and playing games!
The Whitney’s
The Burningham’s
The Simper’s
The Medico’s
Jason (aka “Hook” making the witches brew)
At school, Savannah’s class got pumpkins from Harmon’s and they all got to decorate them. On Saturday the 30th, she got to go and pick it up to take it home. It was such a cute little pumpkin!
My parents decided to have a Halloween party this year too, so we could all see each other’s costumes.
Megan and Blake (and NO they were not announcing anything)
Cory and Pheobe ~ Dennis, Julie and Afton
The Madsen’s ~ Mom
Michelle ~ Dave
The Cousins
The kids went trunk or treating to all the families and had a great time!
We went to our ward’s Trunk or Treat and saw quite a few little cuties!
Here is mommy and kids ready to brave the cold and trick or treat! There was hardly anyone out and so most people gave the girls handfuls of candy because they hadn’t had any other kids come!
We ended the night with a little sword fight between “Tiger Lily” and “Hook”.
She has learned some good moves from our “Barbie: The Three Musketeers” movie!
But Halloween wasn’t over, not QUITE yet, so on Sunday, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Medico’s for one more costumed bash! We had more yummy food and had a fun time hanging out together.

You always have such fun family gatherings. Maybe when our family can actually be with the whole gang it will happen. Thanks for sharing.

I have decided that some day we should coordinate our halloween costumes and both of our husbands can wear their black wigs and it will be hillarious! the end.
I need a copy of the the different family costume pics since I missed out.
