We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Our little family read all of our notes from our “thankful turkey” before we went over to the big feast. It was great to hear all the wonderful things our girls had said they were thankful for! They were really thoughtful about it. We spent our Thanksgiving meal with the Ferguson side of the family. We had so much yummy food, it wouldn’t all fit on the table! It was great being able to spend time with each other and think about all the things we have to be thankful for.
I meant to take a picture of my family during the evening, but I forgot, so here is one of us from this summer. I love my little family so much! I have an amazing husband who does so much to help me and provide for our family. I have wonderful children who make me laugh every day, who bring a smile to my face, and who always love unconditionally! We have a great home in THE BEST neighborhood ever! I have a fun calling where I get a night out each week to pretend I’m a teenager again! I have a testimony that helps me and gets me through things even when they are hard. I am so blessed in my life and have so many things to be thankful for! I love this holiday for what it represents and the time we are able to think about what we have!
After going home for a short nap, mom, Megan, Amber and I set out for our Black Friday adventure. We had Dave and Michelle along for part of our fun, and Julie joined us at the tail end. We always look forward to this day and the fun and excitement it brings. Unfortunately, there were a few scrooges at the stores this year that made it kind of scary, but then there were awesome people too—one who literally gave me a gift out of his arms! The holidays are in full swing now and I am looking forward to a wonderful Christmas season this year!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
