Snow Day

The girls were so excited to go play in the snow.  Jared….not so much.  But we bundled up to spend some time in the great white snow!

The girls fell into the snow, made snow angels, ran around the yard, and had a great time.

Jared cried when mommy set him down.  Poor kid wanted nothing to do with that cold stuff!  (It probably didn’t help that he was super puffy in his snowsuit and couldn’t walk very well.  Also, yes, he is wearing his sister’s hand-me-down pink boots.  He’s a man’s man though, and pink is the hot color!!)

I finally took him in and un-bundled him so he could have a nap.  Sisters played on.

I always loved playing in the snow as a kid.  I would spend HOURS out side.  Unfortunately, it was SO COLD that morning, and the girls wanted to come inside, so they didn’t play very long.  Hopefully next time they will want more of it!
