My kids were out of school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and so we decided to plan a fun weekend with the Madsen’s. They traveled down to our house on Sunday night and had dinner with us. Then we had a great time playing DANCE CENTRAL!! Of course, all the kids had to raid the dress ups first before the dancing could begin. I love that my cute little nephew, Zach, loves to dress up with all the girls! And his choice of headbands is pretty great too!!
Amber refused to share pictures of her FAB moves on her own blog, but don’t worry world, I have some pretty fantastic ones of her that I am not embarrassed in the LEAST to share of her!!
Jared was thrilled to have some boys around and loved playing with Kye. They pretty much fought over this banana chair the whole night!!
Thanks Madsen’s for an AWESOME party!
But the fun didn’t stop there!! Emma then got to stay and have a sleepover with my girls. We popped popcorn, and had TONS of treats while we watched a Barbie movie!
On Monday, we headed up to the Maden’s house, (with a little detour to our favorite bargain store of all, D.I., first!!) Then we worked on some fun new pillows, while all the kids played. I was pretty stumped with what to do, so I finally just made Savannah one for her room. It did not turn out as I envisioned at all, but she loves it, so that’s what matters!!! Amber’s, on the other hand turned out incredibly darling!!
What a great weekend!

If the pictures on MY camera of ME dancing looked that good I would've posted them ... SERIOUSLY the ones on my camera were HORRIBLE looking or blurry!!
Have you made any pillows for YOU yet???
