Most of our family ended up getting sick the week of Christmas, so we weren’t able to go downtown and see the lights like we had planned. So we ended up going the day after Christmas. We wanted to be down there the minute the lights turned on, so we left pretty early. We ended up being there WAY too early, so we spent some time waiting in the war and 3 out of 4 kids fell asleep. (Jared woke up the exact moment I snapped this picture!)
We finally got out and started looking around. We did get to be there the minute they turned on the lights!
We were all having a great time until THIS happened. (gotta love those terrible 3’s!)
Lily then had to be strapped into the stroller for the rest of the time because she wouldn’t stay by us. The girls really enjoyed seeing the lights. Jared wanted to be held the entire time, so we snuggled with each other, and he really enjoyed the lights too!
Temple Square is always a fun tradition with our family and we are glad we made it!

I love the 2 girls POSING by the lights. So classic!! I also LOVE the picture of the tantrum ... anther classic moment in life. Wouldn't you love to have some of our tantrums in a picture?!? I am sure they were AWESOME!!
