New Year’s Day~part 1

On New Year’s Day, we had yummy cinnamon rolls for breakfast.  mmmm.  I just wish we had more! 

Then we decided to take our new sleds out for some sledding!  It was REALLY cold, and super icy, and unfortunately, one of our sleds broke on the hard ice, and another got ripped.  Sad!  We were still determined to have a great time with our new sleds!  And I think we did!  The girls trekked up the hill and slid back down more times than I can count! 

We thought Jared might be upset because of the cold and snow, but he did great!  Because the snow was so packed, he could actually walk around, and I had him bundled really good too, so he had a great time exploring.  We had to keep a good eye out though, because the boys who were sledding down right next to us kept veering out of control and right for us!  There were quite a few close calls, but luckily no one got hurt!

We hope we get to go out some more and use our sleds!  We also, after watching others and their sleds, know what kind to keep our eyes out for next time we get sleds!!
