Dutch Oven

Last week, my parents invited everyone over for some yumm-o Dutch Oven cooking!  mmmmmmmm!!!  We were a little late since it was after one of our swim classes, and as I got out of my car, the entire neighborhood smelled like my grandparents house.  My mouth immediately started watering!!!  My mom had slaved ALL DAY to cook us such a wonderful meal. 

While we waited for the food, the kids colored.

The adults visited.

And mom took a few minutes to hold grandchildren.

Then it was time for the delish food! 

My sister-in-law Jennie made this cool ‘ombre drink.  It was really cool that the colors stayed separated.

We had chicken and potatoes for the main meal.

Yum!!!

Then Uncle Dennis started some good old water fights with the kids.

It wasn’t long before the adults joined in and targeted Amber. 

Then we had some yummy homemade ice cream.

And finished our night with the Epic Battle of Jason and Dennis.

It was pretty hilarious to watch.

Jared got in on some of the water action.  (By being hosed off.  He was STICKY!)

We always enjoy big family get togethers!  Thanks mom for the food!!!
