Some fun we have been having!

Since we got home from our vacation, some of my kids think that summer is over.  I am quick to remind them that it is FAR from over and we have many many more things to do before school starts.  Here are some of the fun things we have been doing.

We went to our Stake Breakfast and Carnival.  We look forward to the fun we have here every year!  We always get a nice yummy meal.

There are lots of fun things to do.  We rode the train, went “fishing” in the fish pond, and played on the bounce house obstacle course.

Then we had some fun treats, cotton candy and a snow cone.  What a fun start to our day!

We went home for some lunch and then headed off to our next fun event, and ICE CREAM PARTY!!!  Through some of our really good friends, we have become friends with another awesome family, The Richardson’s, who invited us to this fun event.

I am pretty lame, and didn’t even snap any pictures of all our friends and our hosts.  But we had a great time!!!

Last, but certainly not least, we had a sleepover with cousin Emma!!!  The girls have been wanting a sleepover all summer, and we finally made it happen!  We had a great time playing, eating, watching movies, NOT sleeping, sleeping,

and in the morning I made Strawberry and Blueberry Waffles!! 

So there is a little of what’s been going on at our house!  Summer is already half over!  *sniff sniff*  We better get a move on the things we still have planned!!!
