Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!

My family likes to throw parties!  Any kind of party is a good party!  We have had all kinds of parties.  Holiday parties, birthday parties, princess tea parties, cookie decorating parties, candy making parties.  The list seriously goes on and on.  There are more girl grandchildren than boys, so sometimes the themes of our parties tend to be a little more girly, so my mom came up with a party that was ALL BOY!

Introducing the 1st ever Grandma’s FOOTBALL Party!!!

My mom went ALL OUT for this fun event.

We started with Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving~specifically the football scene.

Then we went out and the kids participated in the obstacle course.  My kids LOVED this!!  Jared, the 100% boy that he is, knew exactly what to do and had great form!  Lily loved running and throwing the ball.  Michaela was a pro, and Savannah, although she had extra obstacles, finished in record time!

Once this little guy got his hands on a ball, it was really rough when he had to give it up to a waiting sister or cousin.

Grandma then gave each child a gift.

Footballs for the guys and Pom-Poms & Megaphones for the girls.

Then we had a yummy lunch full of football snacks!

Football shaped sandwiches; football pizza; football m&m’s (peanut); football ritz crackers, oreos and pretzels.  Even popcorn, in a football-shaped bowl.

After we were done eating we headed back outside and the kids frosted their football cookies.

It was such a FUN party!!  My mom is the BEST and we always love the things she does for us and our kiddos.  Thanks mom!

Happy Football Season!

That is too cute! I love that your mom throws grand kids parties. I wish we had a bunch of cousins around to do things with. We don't have any! So sad. I guess that means, that maybe I should get together with YOU and pretend that your kids are my kids cousins. haha! I loved seeing all the things you've been up to. Sorry I've been so bad at checking everyones' blogs!
