My kids

We wanted to get our kids pictures taken, and Jason had the brilliant idea to have them taken on a playground.  My brother Dave took them for us and did such a wonderful job!  I know I am biased, but I think my kids are pretty dang cute!  Here are their fantastic pictures and a little about each of them and their personalities at their ages.

Savannah ~ 7yrs

Savannah has grown up into such a darling little lady.  She loves learning, singing and doing anything crafty.  She is such a big helper to her other siblings and to mom and dad.  She is our most tender-hearted child, and can get her feelings hurt easily, but it also means she is always looking out for others’ feelings.  She is so responsible and caring and I miss her a bunch when she’s at school.

Michaela ~ 5 yrs

Michaela is our little comedian.  She cracks us up all the time.  She can’t remember anyone’s name and mixes up her Aunts & Uncles names on a regular basis.  She is our make-believe queen and is always getting Lily to play crazy made up stories with her.  (Like mom & “kid”, girl & “cat”, and dragons)  She has become a super helper and dries all the dishes as mom washes them.  She started Kindergarten and already believes she can read and spell.  She always spells words to me that are not anything, but she thinks they are.  (mcma=LOVE) 

Lily ~ 2 1/2 yrs

Lily is our little princess.  She is impossible to say no to (and unfortunately she knows it!)  When she wants something she looks at us with her puppy-dog eyes and says “Please, I beg you.”  If she thinks I am upset with her, she will ask me “Mom, are you mad at me? Please don’t be mad at me.”  Lily absolutely adores her big sisters and wants to do everything just like them.  Now that she is home all morning as the big sister, she is such a good helper to me and a sweetie to Jared. 

  

Jared ~ 10 months

Jared is our little man, and we all can’t get enough of him.  His sisters love him to pieces and he has mom and dad wrapped around his little finger.  He is mostly a momma’s boy, and I love every single minute of it!  When he plays he is all boy.  He knows exactly where trouble is and heads there first.  When he sees any of the other baby cousins, he gives them big loves. (which usually ends up in the other cousin crying)  He’ll be such a good friend when they can all hug back! 

 

And here they are all together!  This was the shot we chose to be our main picture of them all, but it was a hard choice, there were so many cute ones!

This was near the end of our picture taking, and you can tell we are spent!  Lily couldn’t pay attention, Michaela had only glares and stares for us, Jared was still smiling, but not as much, and Savannah has a barely-hangin’-on smile!

 

They kept wanting to play on all the cool playgrounds we were visiting, and it was really hard to keep them focused.  They finally got a few minutes of play before we headed off for home!  (We also had to keep chasing off the kids who were actually there to play.  GET OUT OF HERE KID!  Okay, just kidding, but there was a certain family who followed us around and sent their kids to play on whatever we were taking pictures of.  Grrrr!)
