Date Night

We have been able to go on a few more dates with our kids, and they have been great!  Savannah turned 8 this year, and we decided we would take the kids on a date with both mom and dad to somewhere a little more special than normal on their 8th birthday year.  We took Savannah to Desert Star to see “Welcome Back Potter”.  It was so much fun!  We made her a little invitation and her eyes started bugging out as she read it she was so excited!  We had really close seats which was awesome.  The play was hysterical!  We were laughing through the entire thing!  Savannah loved picking out what we would eat for lunch, and having a smoothie.  We loved being with our grown-up little girl and having an awesome time with her!!  Thanks Savannah!

Next, Jason took Lily on a date.  She had been talking about a date with daddy for weeks, and was so excited when the day finally came.  He decided to take her to Discovery Gateway (before our membership expired!)  She loves that place and it was great to be there with just daddy.  After, he spoiled her and took her to lunch.  She chose pizza! 

And finally, Michaela and mommy went on a date.  I decided to take her to “Tangled”.  She was so excited to go!  She convinced me she needed a treat while she watched her movie so she picked out her favorite and we were ready to go!  We both LOVED the movie.  It was really darling.  After we went to Ruby Tuesday for lunch.  It was a great date for both of us!

Dates with our kids is one of my favorite things to do right now!  They are each so different and it’s great to see their little personalities shine one-on-one.  We have great kids!!
