Last Monday, was Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. I know, kind of an obscure holiday, but I think one that is definitely worth knowing about! I planned a little party for my family. It started out with….BUBBLE WRAP! (of course!) We unrolled it and let the kids go wild! They had SO. MUCH. FUN! They were laughing, and jumping, and popping all those great bubbles!
I even got in on the action!
Once the bubbles were mostly popped, the kids wanted to have a bubble wrap fashion show! It was so funny! They even tied some around Jared and he LOVED it!! Silly kids!
Even though it was Bubble WRAP Appreciation Day, we kept the party going by basically making it a “Bubble” party. So, the kids got on their swimming suits, and we filled up the tub with bubbles so they could have a bubble bath!!!
Again, they all LOVED it!! They all love baths anyway, but a “bubble bath” and in swimsuits!! That was even better!
Jason and Aunt Carie were going walking, and so Torrie came over and had some bubble bath fun with us too!
Then, on to the grand finale of our bubble party—bubble bread! This was the first time I have ever made this bread, so I was basically hoping it would turn out ok. It did start exploding in the oven, and my oven was smoking a ton. I had to send all the kids downstairs while I aired out the house! But once we ate it, mmmmmmmmmmmm, the yummy-ness basically made up for any hassle involved in the baking of it!! We all gave it two thumbs way way up!!!
It was a great night full of bubbles, fun and some great memories!!

A bubble-wrap holiday?! Who knew? How did you find out about that? I LOVE it. Such a great idea to have fun doing "bubble-themed" things. Thanks for sharing! (P.S. what day is that so I can celebrate it next year?)
My sister Ashley used to celebrate it with her kids when she was a teacher. It is the last Monday of January. It was definitely a fun celebration!!
