Celebrate!

I am pretty much a sucker for any kind of celebration.  So, in addition to our Bubble Party and Cookie Party last week, we found a few other reasons to have a good time. 

February 3 was Chinese New Year.  I made yummy yummy yummy orange chicken and fried rice!  Savannah had made a paper lantern in her class and it was our cute little centerpiece.  I don’t think our kids, (except for Savannah) had any concept of what the day was, but they just kept saying “It’s a holiday!!  Hooray!”

Then, on Sunday, we celebrated the Super Bowl.  Ok, well Jason went to a Super Bowl party, so we had a mom and kids party at home!  We had Hawaiian pizza (the girls FAVORITE), and then I surprised them with the movie “Despicable Me”!  It was a pretty low-key party, but a fun one!  (also, I know this is basically the same pose, but they all cracked me up!)

I love being with my wonderful family and finding simple reasons to “celebrate” with them!!
