Girls Night Out/Guys Night In

Last week, I was craving a date night with my girls.  I don’t know why, I just wanted to take one of them out.  Well, while Jason and I were still talking about it, he told them what I wanted to do, and then it was all over!  ALL THREE of them wanted to go on a date with mommy, and every time we would try to talk to them about letting another sister go this time, and they could go next time, the waterworks would start.  I finally caved and said I would take all three with me. 

Jason grabbed some McD’s for him and Jar and he even got Jared a special apple pie for a treat!  They stayed in, ate and watched “Despicable Me” (Our family’s FAVORITE movie.  All 3 girls can quote the entire thing!)

I took the girls to Zupa’s, fully intending the night to be borderline disastrous!  (after all, the afternoon had been a little wild and crazy, and there was not a nap for Lily in there)  I am happy to report that I was dead wrong!  They were so well behaved and sweet, and we had so much fun talking together and eating the yumminess that is Zupa’s!  I loved that they were so eager to act like little ladies!  I wasn’t sure how the food would go over on them, but even a Zupa’s kids meal doesn’t disappoint!  Plus, getting their very own chocolate covered strawberry made the night absolutely perfect!  All they have talked about for the past week is how much fun we had at Zupa’s and “can we go there again?”  Absolutely girls!  And it will be a blast!!
