Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful low-key Christmas this year.  We decided to cut back for REAL this year, and it made things so much nicer.  I was way less stressed shopping, we didn’t have nearly as much to wrap, there were not as many toys and stuff hanging around the house, and the kids actually play, use and love EVERYTHING they got!

Jason went down and “set-up” the scene, but he didn’t take a picture of the tree.  We had only given them their Santa presents, so I made the kids put them back so I could get the picture!  he he!

The girls were all excited by what they got!  They got what they asked for and a few surprises too!

Jared loved opening presents and helped me open quite a few of mine!   Jason was our fabulous videographer, and all of his commentary was hysterical!

They all loved opening their socks, and were super excited when they got to the candy at the bottom.  Jared may have just sat and eaten every. single. piece. of candy right there!

When we were done with presents, the girls remembered that Santa had left us something fun in our closet last year.  When we went to check, we found a bag of cereal for everyone!!

We had a yummy breakfast, and then got all dressed up for church.  The kids were all excited to wear their new outfits!

After church, we took naps, played with our new stuff, and then headed to G&G Medico’s for dinner.  The kids all got to open their gifts and play with some of their cousins, aunts and uncles.

They all got new pajamas, and were excited to get them on!

On Monday, G&G Fergy along with Dave, Ashley & Luis stopped by, and we had some more Christmas fun showing off our new stuff!

We spent the rest of the week lounging around in pajamas, watching our new movies (High School Musical Marathon!) playing our new Kinect games, and playing with all of our new toys!  Such a wonderful week!!

I need to figure out what those things are called in your girls hair. Obviously some kind of curlers. They make their hair so pretty!

Hi I'm Charisse, and I make the best Christmas dresses ever! In fact, I make just about everything these days. Oh, no that isn't a new couch. I just pulled one together last night with some scraps I had laying around.
