Last week, we made it to the 100th day of school! To celebrate the first graders dressed up like they were 100 years old!! I laughed so hard when the note came home, and Michaela and I had a lot of fun planning her outfit together!
I helped her find some granny clothes in her closet, and she had the idea to make her hair white with baby powder!! That morning, my idea for “spectacles” was not working, and so I hurriedly made her some wire ones. They are incredibly “special” but were so right for this outfit!

Michaela also earned “granny” as a nickname for the next few days! We love this and I super hope my others get to participate in this when they are in 1st grade!!

What a fun idea, I would have loved to see a class full of little '100 year olds' Sounds like she has a really fun teacher!
