So, of course, I was released a few weeks ago from Young Women’s, and was hanging around in limbo waiting for a new calling. On Easter, they called me into Nursery! It’s definitely not what I expected, so I was pretty shocked to hear that. Jared is still in nursery, and I was apprehensive about being in there with him. He is pretty clingy, so I worried that he wouldn’t let me be the leader and play with other kids. Once I got used to the idea, and especially after I was set apart, I started to get excited. I’ve been in there for two weeks now and I LOVE it! It’s really fun to just play with my little boy for two hours. He is kind of the wild child of nursery, so it’s probably best that I am there to calm him down. He doesn’t get possessive of me often, and it’s usually if someone is sitting on my lap for a story. So far, I’ve been able to make room for two kids so he can sit as well. The other kids are all really darling, and I look forward to getting to know them better. Nursery is definitely a BIG change from Young Women’s, but I am excited and constantly have ideas of things to do in there rolling around in my mind! So, here I go with my new adventure!!!
(And because a blog post just isn’t the same without a picture: me and my church buddy!)

Yay! I love it when we have awesome nursery leaders!!! I'm so glad you're in there Charisse! Charlotte will be there in 3 more months! I can't believe it!
You will be great in Nursery! That's disappointing that you won't get to spend more time in Relief Society though. I LOVE Young Women's, but I still really Relief Society!
What a cute pic of you two! He's getting so big! You're so good with little kids and so creative, that's a great calling for you!
