One of the greatest days of the summer has to be 7-11 a.k.a. July 11 a.k.a. FREE SLURPEE DAY!! I remember as a teenager loving this holiday, and I am doing everything in my power to pass on the love to my kids! They were quite excited by their slurpees and our fun adventure.
After our slurpees, we headed to the library for their wild animal program. We loved seeing all of the animals and getting to interact with a few of them like the mama tortoise:
the baby tortoise:
a snake:
and a hedgehog:
It was a fun day and we were glad to have grandma on our adventure as well!!!

You are so fun to scope out all the fun free things for your kids to do during the summer. I'm sure your kids are just in heaven!
