Another FABULOUS summer holiday is Cow Appreciation Day! This was actually our first year participating, and we had so much fun!! We started out our day putting all of our “cow gear” on. The girls loved dressing up and Jared was really excited and kept asking me if he was a cow!
We then headed to Chick-Fil-A for breakfast. We loved our yummy food, the kids really loved playing on the playground after they ate and we even ran into some friends for a few minutes.
At lunchtime, we headed to pick daddy up from work and eat again at Chick-Fil-A! With both Jason and I in our wonderful cow togas, (made the night before!) and all of our little calves, we got quite the response! The owner was outside, and was really excited when he saw us walk up. Even though we felt absolutely dorky, it was so worth it! We also got to meet THE cow which was exciting!
Finally, when Jason got off work, we picked him up and headed up north. We met up with our Madsen cousins who were also all cow-ified and had dinner! The kids had a fun time eating and playing with their “cow”sins!
We had our picture taken at every single Chick-Fil-A, but the one in Layton actually printed us out a copy which was fun!!
After our day of cow adventures, we made one last stop before heading home. KRISPY KREME! It was their 75th anniversary, and you could buy one dozen and get the second for 75 cents!
This was also Jason’s first visit inside and he was SO EXCITED to see how the donuts were made!!
Another check on the bucket list for crazy family adventures!!!!
