The day before Thanksgiving, my kids and I all got things ready for our feast the next day. I made a super yummy Banana Crème Pie, and Savannah supervised all of the other kids to make “mini” pies! They did everything themselves and it was super cute to watch!
We had dinner at my brother Dave’s house. Savannah, always the helper, and Jared mashed potatoes.
The kids also all played around Uncle Davey’s cool house!
Our feast was WONDERFUL!!! Everyone helped make such yummy-ful food!
We loved the GIANT table and being able to sit with everyone!
After dinner, there was guitar-playing,
Movie-watching,
And just playing.
Then it was time for dessert!!! We all sampled as many pies and yummy stuff as we could!!
Our family has so many blessings, and were so thankful to spend time together as a family! We love this cute little family of ours!!!
Later, after most had headed home, the few crazies left, went to Walmart to start our “Black Friday” shopping!!! It wasn’t as long as other years, but we still had all of the lovely war stories to tell! Ha!
Friday evening, we were lucky to have my good friend Heather and her family over. We had a great time catching up and the kids loved playing with each other! Hopefully it won’t be so long before we can get together again!
Saturday was our “tree” day!! The kids loved seeing all of their ornaments from other years, and hanging them on the tree. Jared loved his so much, that he kept taking them off of the tree. They ended up lost until I finally found them in a bag in another room. Silly boy!!
Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday, and we loved our WHOLE weekend of spending it together. We are looking forward to the fun at Christmas!

I love Thanksgiving weekend! So many fun things going on, like Black Friday, lots of baking and putting up the tree. Looks like you all had a fabulous time!
I want a cute little Savannah helper to come make pies with Raquel!
