So…..Halloween! Better late than never right?! I know I have been a MAJOR blog slacker lately, so to all 3 people who read my blog, get ready for some catch-up!
For Halloween, Savannah and Michaela wore their cute Hawaiian outfits, Lily chose to be Aurora, and Jared was Woody. Three of the Four kids’ costumes were DONE, and I just had to gather stuff for J. We got his hat on our vacation, I made his vest and refashioned a men’s shirt to fit him, and searched EVERYWHERE before finding him some cutie-patootie cowboy boots! They were well worth it since he wears them all the time! I also found him a sheriff star and SPURS at the dollar store! While I loved, not having to put together as many from scratch costumes, I do really love it!
Our first party was our Halloween Spooktacular at my parents’ house. Lots of yummy food, family and trick-or-treating!
My mom gave the kids all a blanket, and it has quickly become everyone’s favorite!
On Halloween, I made “Pumpkin Pancakes”. I know, they are super “special”, but the kids loved them!
The girls were not allowed costumes at school, so they wore their “spider skirts”.
Jared, Lily and I got all of our gear on, and after a fun storytime party at Aunt Julie’s, we went for cupcakes at Sweet Tooth Fairy.
I decided to dress up as “Flo” this year. It is probably my most favorite costume ever!! It was fun to go visit Jason at work and meet the “real Flo”! Ha ha!
We took a bunch of pictures all around his office! Flo had to represent!!
We went to our ward Trunk or Treat that night. It was really crazy having it ON Halloween, but we made the best of it.
After a quick Halloween treat, the kids and I headed out to do some more trick or treating! It was a perfect night, and we ended up going for quite a while. We also went with dad over to Aunt Carie’s house for a little bit more spooky fun! What a great Halloween!!!!
