One of the great things we love to do each summer is the Library Summer Reading Program. I was able to take the kids to the Kick-off party and we had lots of fun!
We started outside at a few of the booths. The girls all dressed up for a photo shoot!
We went inside the Library and after getting a cookie and signing up for the program, we got to meet and visit with lots of different characters. We saw Tinkerbelle, Belle, Cinderella and Arial.
We saw a Storm Trooper, Princess Leia and a Sith Lord.
Then we got to see Darth Vader and even “fight” with some light sabers! My kids were all pretty excited about this!
On our way out, we saw Batman, and Jared started going CRAZY!!! If there is one thing this kid loves, it’s superheroes!! We headed over and got one more picture with Batman and Super Girl. Despite Jared’s less-than-excited look, he was so thrilled he could hardly even talk to Batman!!
We headed back outside again and got to do some more cool things. The kids each got to sit on a cop motorcycle.

We also got to rope a calf.
There were a bunch of bounce houses, and the kids got to play on those for a bit and then it was time to go. We had a great time and are excited to get reading this summer!!

Um...could Tinkerbell have possibly worn more clothing? Yikes!
Let's do this together next year. I've never been and it looks like a blast!
