Some of the other fun things we have done this summer:
We went to see Despicable Me 2 and loved it! The kids had a fun time in a big fancy theater too!
We went to our Stake Carnival and had a yummy breakfast and had a great time playing!
The weekend before the 24th of July, there was a “Cowboy Camp” down by the Energy Solutions Arena. We ventured down one night and had a great time. The kids got to ride ponies, play Indian games, make corn husk dolls, learn about pioneers, ride in a handcart and a covered wagon.
We also had a fun little adventure with our Madsen cousins while grandma was tending them for a few days. We had “free lunch” at the park and then went to the Float Preview Party. We had a great time seeing all of the floats. We also got balloon creations and face painting for the kids! It was quite a fun afternoon.
One day, we treated our family to Arby’s sandwiches that were on sale and our free Chick-fil-a drinks and then we headed to Murray Park to have a little picnic and play. The kids had so much fun and loved that daddy would play with them too! They still talk about this park and how we need to go back and play again!
