We look forward to Taylorsville Dayzz every summer! This year, since I was preggo and Jason had hurt his ankle just a few weeks before, we didn’t have anyone running in the race. The girls were kind of sad since they loved it so much, but decided it would be ok. We were working on the yard that morning, but the kids and I took a break and headed down to watch the parade!
It was so cute to watch them get so excited and run after thrown candy. We sat by a very nice man who, if my kids weren’t getting some, would make sure that they did!! He even chased the ice cream sample people down the street to get Jared an ice cream!
We went home and continued working hard in our yard. We were pretty hot by the end of the day, and decided to head to Chick-fil-a for our June FREE milkshakes! They were so yummy and definitely cooled us down.
Then it was time to walk over to Valley Park to watch the fireworks. Savannah brought boondoggle to pass the time.
The other kids ran around a bit, watched the hot air balloons, saw the sky divers and then had fun playing with glo sticks!
Jason and I enjoyed relaxing and watching our little family have a good time!
Finally it was dark enough, and we all snuggled up to watch the show!
It was a great day and we loved even the little bit that we got to join in the celebration!! Until next year T-Ville!!
