Last Friday, my kids were out of school, and so we decided to go on a little field trip! We loaded everyone up and headed downtown to the Church History Museum. We went to the new children’s display about the Book of Mormon. It was so much fun! I was tending Afton and we invited grandma, so they tagged along with us. There were so many fun things to see and do. My girls loved everything! We started at Nephi’s boat where they fished.
Then Savannah did some transcribing.
Michaela played some computer games. (This was definitely her favorite spot!) Lily played with the paper dolls.
They built a city with blocks and then knocked them down and climbed all over them.
Then there were little displays about countries in South America. There were stories on the walls all over that went along with the play area. Afton loved the kitchen area!
She got up on the table so she could “eat with the missionaries”!
Jared love love LOVED this truck! He loved driving it. He loved getting in the back and playing with the animals. He loved everything about this cute little truck!
They had a section where the kids could dress up in vests and skirts and learn a dance. This was Savannah’s favorite spot. She spent almost the entire time we were there in this spot. She did really good with the dances!!
There was a cute bike. The wheel has rubber balls inside of plexi-glass. When you spin it they all go flying. It was so fun!
We had such a great time, and the kids were all so sad when it was time to leave. We will definitely be making a lot of trips back to the museum!!
