I wanted to have an Oscar party this year. I’ve been thinking about it for a long time. Jason wouldn’t watch them with me, and I wanted someone to talk to about it while I watched. Unfortunately, when it came down to it, I was just too overwhelmed with other stuff to do it. So, I prepared myself for a lovely night of the Oscars, by myself. But lucky for me, I have the BEST kids in the world, who were super excited to party with mom no matter WHAT the reason!!
I made super yummy homemade spinach bacon artichoke pizza. mmmmmmmmm. (glad I made two…..sad they are long gone….)

The girls were so fun to watch with. They loved seeing all the dresses, (even though they made sure to tell me over and over that NONE of them were modest!) They kept asking who won and what did they win for? It was fun to be with my little girls and boy and have a fun night watching the Oscars. They did have to go to bed before they were over of course, but they made my night!! Thanks kids!

I love the Oscars. Sad that I don't get to see much American television shows. Glad your girls enjoyed watching with you.
I love watching the Oscars! It cracks me up when kids point out people attire...when girls show their shoulders Christian always says..."that's not appropriate mom, I can ALMOST see her boobs!" Lovely!
