On September 28, this little guy turned 2!
He started his day with a visit from grandma. He loved the bag his present came in the most. He carried it around with all kinds of stuff in it for the rest of the day!
We usually do presents in the morning, but with Jason having to leave so early to go to work, we didn’t want to wake Jared up that early. So since he didn’t have any of his gifts yet, we decided to head out and find some adventure for the day. We ended up going to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Jared and Lily both had a great time!
Jared wasn’t as into the erosion table as I though he would be. Lily loved playing in the sand, but Jared just wanted to throw it.
This was the favorite Dinosaur of the day. I think Jared thought it was a doggy!
More sand = more throwing it by Jared!
It was a fun little outing for us. (They wouldn’t take very many pictures WITH each other. See below, where together they are sad and fighting, and alone they are happy as can be!)
Then we stopped by daddy’s work and went out to lunch. Jared chose Burger King. He really enjoyed the little slide in the play place after eating! When we took him back to work, Daddy took Jared into his office, and all the women there went crazy over our little guy. He got a few treats from being so cute!
That night, we had pizza for dinner and then Jared opened his presents. He was so wound up and kept running around after every gift. Although he loves everything and plays with it a ton now, that night I was kind of wondering what the point of giving him everything was!
He got lots of cars, trucks and trains. I am really loving the “boy” toys that I finally get to buy! His little Cars slippers were my absolute FAVORITE! They are stinkin’ CUTE on his little feet!
He was super excited about his wiggle car, and it is becoming a family favorite. All of the sister’s and even mom tried it out!
Then we headed inside to have cake and ice cream. I had a hard time deciding on what to make for his cake. I finally decided to go with a train. It was a really fun cake to make, and the kids all went crazy over all of the candy!
Jared started swiping some of the candy the minute it was set in front of him!
We love this little boy so much!! He brings so much happiness into our lives. He is still so snuggly, which is great! He often comes to me in the middle of the day and just wants me to hold him for a few minutes. We snuggle, and then he is off again! He is so curious about everything. He is such a fun little brother and has all three of his older sisters wrapped around his finger! He is starting to really take off with his words too. We love to see all the new things he learns each day!! We love you Jared!
