“Kankie”

Jared is my 4th two-year-old, but my 1st two-year-old BOY.  I am LOVING experiencing this fun age from a very different perspective with him than my girls.  Jared is a very rough and tumble kind of kid.  I love how growling, trucks, dinosaurs and light-saber fighting are second nature to this kid!  I also love that he is through and through a “mama’s boy”, and I hope it never changes! 

Jared is also my first kidd-o to be a “Linus” kid~a.k.a. a blanket boy.  He has a favorite blanket that likes to come everywhere with us.  His blanket’s name is “Kankie”.  Kankie is a best friend, a comforter, something yummy to chew on, and life is just not quite complete without it! 

We often have to search the house for “Kankie”.  He takes it so many places, and sometimes forgets where he last put it.

Sometimes “Kankie” is shortened to “Kank”.  I like that nick-name.  It fits the blankets’ western theme to a T!

I hope being fleece, and only one layer will help our “Kankie” last for years and years, because I can’t quite imagine life—or my little boy—without it!
